The sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly, said Weinstein was in some distress. Hillary Clinton, who was a beneficiary of Harvey's fundraising benefits also broke her silence on the allegations saying, "The behavior described by women coming forward can not be tolerated", Hillary said in a statement. At the time, Remy was able to convince her father to return indoors, but by the time police arrived Weinstein had already left the building.

According to law enforcement, Weinstein was at his 22-year-old daughter Remy's place when their argument spilled out onto the street.

"Remy overreacted at the situation, out of love and concern for her father, and called the police, telling them he was depressed and suicidal".

Responding to the incident, Page Six reported that a friend of the mogul reached out to the publication to clear the air.

According to the site, Harvey was heard yelling to Remy, "You're making it worse", before hopping into a black SUV.

With Weinstein gone, TWC is now unsure of how to move forward as a business.

The New York Times was first to break the story last Thursday, detailing "dozens" of sexual harassment allegations against Weinstein in a bombshell exposé.

The hits just keep on coming for The Weinstein Company.

JAY-Z is interested in purchasing Harvey Weinstein's stake in The Weinstein Company after the media titan was sacked from his company, according to multiple sources.
