Access member will also receive Star Wars battlefront II and Need for Speed: Payback.

It's fair to point out that both Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 were less than a year old when they were added to Origin Access, but with all due respect to both series, I don't think that either of them had quite the marquee stature of Mass Effect. EA Access on the Xbox One and Origin Access on the PC are each available for $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year.

Youre the Pathfinder, the leader of a squad of explorers, and its your job to find a home for humanity in the alien Andromeda Galaxy.

To editorialize for a moment, both Dead Space 3 and Mass Effect Andromeda are criminally underrated titles, and absolutely deserve your time. Bring together a team of colorful characters, discover new worlds and unravel the ultimate secret at the heart of this odd new system.

Xbox One fans receive the full version of Dead Space 3 along with a trial version of the upcoming console port of The Sims 4. Payback, on the other hand, will be playable ahead of launch for a total of 10 hours - roughly the standard amount. Create unique Sims, build their flawless home and help them pursue their dreams. It is unknown the exact date and what the content will include.

Mass Effect: Andromeda, BioWare's much maligned but still surprisingly enjoyable space extravaganza, is the big one on the list, and you'll be able to play it as much as you want if you're subscribed to either Origin Access on PC or EA Access on Xbox One.

EA did not disclose when exactly will these games and trials be available for subscribers, only that they will land before December this year.
