Pixel was the name of choice with Google presenting a new high-end laptop (Pixelbook) and some eye-wateringly expensive in-ear headphones, the Pixel Buds, as well as the two new Android phones (Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL).

Pixel 2 XL is also available for pre-order now and on sale and in store from 15 November. Last year, there was only ₹10,000 between the Pixel (₹57,000) and Pixel XL (₹67,000) starting prices. On the other hand, the 64 GB Pixel 2 XL will cost $35.42 a month and the 128 GB variant by $39.58 a month.

Verizon may be the exclusive carrier of Google's new Pixel 2 smartphone in the USA but Big Red isn't your only option.

It was a nice perk to what has already been dubbed by DxOMark as the best smartphone camera of all time.

Reynolds has shared a collection of "unedited" images and videos captured using the Google Pixel 2 phones and for sure, they look quite good. If the user wants to access the Google Assistant, all it takes is touching the earbud and the user can make commands and ask questions, just like James Bond. The bigger Pixel 2 XL has a 6.0-inch QHD+ display with 18:9 screen ratio, a 3520 mAh battery, and the rest are the same as the Pixel 2.

T-Mobile US is reportedly offering up to 50% cash back on the purchase of the Pixel 2 phone, if switched on to the T-Mobile US network.

The camera is the main battlefield for these new phones.

The standard Pixel 2 is available for ₹61,000 for the 64GB base model, or ₹70,000 for 128GB.

The function that allows you to take screenshots on your smartphone has been one of the most useful ever since the introduction of Android and iOS smartphones. The cash rebate for 64 GB Pixel 2 is nearly half the price of the phone when sold in Google's own store.
