The Overwatch Halloween Terror event is live. A leaderboard has been added to commemorate players who've lasted the longest in endless mode, too.

Firstly, it's likely the game will launch with a big update and patch notes released shortly after, there's also going to be a return for the Junkenstein's Revenge game mode, but with one or two small tweaks.

These skins are available alongside last year's Halloween Terror gear.

But, if Halloween Terror is anything like the 2017 Summer Games event, then Blizzard will nearly certainly bring back all of last year's skins at a cheaper price. Junkenstein's Revenge: Endless Night sees players face wave after wave of enemies and bosses.

The fandom has been freaking out over Symmetra's Dragon skin, which leaked over the weekend. During a teaser earlier this week, we've already seen McCree as Van Helsing and Reaper getting his Dracula on; but now we get a chance to see a few more of the skins on the way.

It should be noted that contents of loot boxes are determined at the moment you earn them, meaning that saving them up will not help you grab more seasonal loot. In this mode, you can play as Ana, Genji, Hanzo, McCree, Soldier: 76, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, or Zenyatta in a team of four. The skins from previous year are available for purchase at regular, non-event prices. They're discounted from their typical 3x credit price down to typical prices, so if you didn't get the legendaries like Junkenstein (a must-have) a year ago, they're now cheaper!

BLIZZARD Overwatch Halloween 2017: new Blizzard game LEAKED ahead of today's event? It's identical to previous year: Pick one of four heroes and hold the door against a horde of AI-controlled robot goombas while minibosses occasionally show up to wreck the party.

Reddit user Mnemosynaut has reportedly discovered images of the new Halloween-inspired skins for Mei, Symmetra, Reaper, and Zanyatta.
