MetroNews will have more on First Lady Melania Trump's visit to Huntington later today.

On Monday, Melania Trump's spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, called that comment "attention-seeking and self-serving noise".

Aside from a cameo in the 1996 movie "The First Wives Club", where Mrs. Trump famously told a trio of divorcees, "don't get mad, get everything", she steered clear of the spotlight.

In her new book, Raising Trump, out Tuesday, Ivana recounts how she's rejected all of Maples' public apologies for the actress' headline-making affair with Trump in the mid-1990s that ultimately broke up his first marriage to Ivana.

"I welcome the First Lady's involvement in this critical issue and look forward to working with her and President Trump to combat the opioid crisis", Jenkins said. I am the first lady okay?

"Mrs. Trump is honoured by her role as First Lady of the United States", the statement said.

Divorced in 1948, Wyman revealed in a 1968 interview her reason for keeping quiet about Reagan, who by then was remarried to future first lady Nancy Regan.

Melania Trump's office quickly fired back, calling those claims "attention-seeking and self-serving noise".

And I don't want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that, because I'm basically first Trump wife.

"I thought the statement was a little passive aggressive....no one thinks Ivana is the first lady, everyone knows Melania is the first lady".

Her comments haven't gone down well with Melania, whose press secretary issued a scathing statement in response.

Lily's Place Executive Director Rebecca Crowder was part of a group of experts and people affected by drug addiction who went to the White House last month at Mrs. Trump's invitation.

The AP reports Melania has made solo public appearances from the United Nations to an worldwide sports event in Canada to the White House.

Others attribute the first lady's more visible, though still low, profile to her satisfaction that her only child is OK after the big move. Trump and Maples were married from 1993 to 1999 and have one child together, Tiffany Trump.

Trump will visit Lily's Place, a drug treatment center where staff ease help infants born with neonatal abstinence syndrome, a cluster of symptoms that stem from a newborn's exposure to opioids during a mother's pregnancy.

"That was all just the lawyers' talk", she said, after having previously clarified she did not accuse him in "a literal or criminal sense".

Grisham added Trump also has an interest in helping remove the stigma and shame attached to drug use and recovery, another reason for her Tuesday visit.
