Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be getting a Halloween event, which is live from now until November 1. Each week there will be a free Halloween-themed Supply Drop, every Friday players will get a free Halloween cosmetic item and on October 30th everyone will get one final gift. The Halloween Scream event will add Gesture Warfare until October 12, where players use nothing but gestures to take out enemies.

Finally, a brand new trailer for Halloween Scream was also released, which shows off some of the items you'll be able to earn.

There'll also be a Boss Battle mode, which starts on October 13. To play any of the Boss Battle mode players will need to own the DLC packs for each chapter.

Infinite Warfare introduces new weaponry, new player abilities and stunning new settings to the Call of Duty franchise. Hurry though, it'll be gone in a pinch.

Players will have access to a Carnage-Only playlist, a map within the IW "Retribution" DLC pack, available to them starting October 12th as a "free-to-play" option until November 1st, which will showcase a mix of different game modes along with Double XP. Players who participate in matches on this map will be awarded double XP.

After a somewhat unsuccessful foray into the future, the next and imminent Call of Duty instalment will return to World War 2.
