The range includes: a talk show-style "Player vs Player" angle; a docu-soap "Bootcamp" following a group of players; a "Defining Moments" series following a weekly eSports topic; and ESL Replay - an hour-long catchup show recounting all the action from four major tournaments. ESL will be the developer and producer for all four shows.

Despite the explosion of eSports, original content on on-demand streaming platforms like Hulu has been completely absent.

Hulu has announced plans to partner with esports giant ESL to create several new series centered around professional gaming. "We know our viewers, especially those watching Hulu on consoles, are hungry for this type of content - so we're excited to offer it on Hulu for the first time".

Player V. Player will be a gamified debate show featuring eSports influencers discussing the latest eSports topics. In game show fashion, panelists will earn points throughout the debate leaving somebody with bragging rights after a final round focusing on classic video games. The result is an urgent, passionate conversation amongst signature esports personalities, connecting communities while also pitting them against one another. Bootcamp will be a documentary series that follows the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) team of Immortals as they prepare for IEM Oakland. With the tournament just weeks away, and now three players short of a full team, The Immortals must find new talent and quickly build a cohesive team. Defining Moments is a series that goes into the most significant moments in esports history across different games.

Finally, ESL Replay is a series that will highlight top plays made during tournaments.
