Recently Amazon said in a statement to The Verge that, "Google has chosen to no longer make YouTube available on Echo Show, without explanation and without notification to customers". This simple set-up works with a variety of ZigBee products from leading brands such as Philips Hue, Hive and more.

The new Echo costs $99.99 and will release on October 31. "Since then, Amazon continues to find new applications, including monitoring and controlling smart homes, and [to develop] devices that are cheap and easy to use".

The new Amazon Echo is in its second generation and replaces the original Echo which revolutionized the smart speaker space.

The new Fire TV is Amazon's most affordable 4K-enabled device ever.

It's the odd Echo out in many ways, created to be plugged straight into your phoneline so you can make calls from your other Alexa devices.

Amazon's launch of a new family of Echo products guards its flank from emerging competitors in a number of different segments.

Whoever you call will see your mobile phone number as the caller ID. Just say "Alexa, discover my devices" and the Echo Plus will automatically set up any smart devices it detects, such as lights, lock, and outlets.

Front-facing cameras on the device enable video calling.

The little black box measures 130 mm by 90 mm by 29.5 mm (that's 5.1 inches by 3.5 inches by 1.2 inches), weighing in at 126.9 grams (4.5 ounces).

An Echo Connect can be yours for $34.99 straight from Amazon, though it doesn't go on sale until 13 December 2017 (you can get a pre-order in now if you definitely want one of the first to be let out into the world).

As for the Amazon Echo Show, the device comes built-in with Alexa virtual assistant and an always-on array of microphones. These reasons accounted for Google pulling YouTube app from the Echo Show. The video streaming service is an essential feature on the Echo Show, which is often useful for viewing video recipes while in the kitchen.

The new smart speaker uses Amazon's second generation far-field technology, which offers improved wake word-processing, better beam-forming and enhanced noise cancellation. The Echo Dot, Echo, and the Echo Show all of these now adopted the capabilities of placing voice calls to numbers for absolutely free in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
