Police in Louisiana have arrested a Texas woman accused of shooting and dismembering her boyfriend, and dumping parts of his body in southeast Texas.

Detectives said that Sutton and Coleman apparently got involved in a heated dispute with each other, which led to a traumatic ending after Sutton crept up on her sleeping boyfriend and shot him in the head. His body parts were found in various dumpsters.

Police discovered the torso of a man in the Baytown Landfill on August 22, the Baytown Sun reported. "She was trying to call him, hadn't heard from him", neighbor Mikki Rogers told KHOU.

Despite charging Sutton with murder, authorities still have not positively identified the remains as officially belonging to Coleman, however, KHOU reported.

Authorities have not commented on her connection to Metairie, but The Baytown Sun reported Sutton's mother told police she might be in Kenner.

Later that month, on August 22, detectives were called in after a male torso was found at a landfill in Baytown. When police requested Sutton to appear for an interview, she went on the run to Louisiana, where she was later arrested.

"Just from what other people were saying from the experiences they were having together, him wanting to leave that relationship, it seemed like one of those love-hate relationships", Delossantos said. "She played that role of an innocent person, and she played it to the fullest", Clark said.

"She played the role of an innocent person". Witnesses said they had seen him moving furniture out of the couple's apartment before his disappearance, the Houston Chronicle reports, and one friend told investigators Coleman had once said if he ever disappeared, police should investigate his girlfriend.

Coleman's auto was still parked at the complex, and family and friends told police they hadn't heard from him. They're working to extradite here to Texas within the coming days, and working to bring Coleman's mom justice.
