Allen Hurns, Marqise Lee's Fantasy Outlook After Allen Robinson's Injury

Houston Texans tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz catches a pass but was injured on the play in the third quarter of an NFL football game at NRG Stadium Sunday Sept. 10 2017 in Houston Allen Hurns, Marqise Lee's Fantasy Outlook After Allen Robinson's Injury

Allen Robinson had some serious misfortune Sunday afternoon in the Jaguars game against the Texans, injuring his left knee on his first reception.

He played in all 16 games for the first time in three National Football League seasons, setting career highs with 105 targets, 63 receptions, 851 yards and three touchdowns.

Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns will step into the role of being the Jaguars' top two receivers.

Robinson caught a 17-yard pass from quarterback Blake Bortles and his momentum sent him out of bounds.

Robinson was a star at Penn State, and that translated into a rookie season in 2015 that saw him go over 1,000 yards receiving while recording 14 touchdowns.

Veteran Arrelious Benn, one of the team's core special teams players, will most certainly become more of a factor as a receiver. He was the Jaguars' primary X receiver and Bortles' No. 1 target. Robinson may not be recovered from the injury by the time the team returns for training camp next offseason.

Hurns, an undrafted free agent in 2014, caught three passes for 42 yards Sunday. Westbrook in particular seems to have the traits you look for in a number one receiver, so it will interesting to see how many snaps he gets when he finally gets on to the field. They're recognizable names but won't offer much in terms of production. Robinson was limping badly after the play and struggled to make it to the sideline before collapsing to the ground. He was entering the final year of his rookie contract and the sides did have preliminary discussions before the season began but that's obviously on hold now.
