Next to the Gear Fit 2 Pro, a wearable known as Gear Sport surfaced on FCC this week as well.

Apple has geared its Apple Watch to become a fitness device, while the Samsung Gear series still focuses on being a fashionable accessory.

Unfortunately, we don't know about the future wearable devices barring the marketing name.

The company has a new Gear Fit model coming down the line with the Gear Fit 2 Pro appearing at the FCC, and now on Samsung Australia's own support website. The last Gear-branded fitness band was released just over a year ago. Apparently, the new model will likely to replace the Gear Fit 2 which was launched in June previous year. The model number is SM-365.In June it is got the approval from the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). The Gear Sports is likely runs on to the Samsung's Tizen Operating System (OS). While a launch date is still unknown, it is believed that Samsung's move to develop a new sports watch makes ideal sense.

Samsung is expected to introduce its next super-sized smartphone, Galaxy Note at its "Unpacked" event held on August 23rd. It's said to be made official around the same time as the Galaxy Note8. The Gear sports smartwatch is likely to show cased at in Berlin the IFA 2017 show floor.
