Carter performed Thursday night to a sold-out crowd near his hometown at the Hamburger Mary's in Brandon.

"Yes, I'm a bisexual man". He followed up with, "let's set up a date".

After that, he introduced his new song called "Hard to Love" and revealed it was inspired by the ex-girlfriend who just broke up with him.

As previously reported, his relationship with Parker ended shortly before he posted a message on Twitter where he opened up about his sexuality. After receiving a warm response from the crowd, Carter became visibly emotional and had to take a moment before beginning the song, as seen in a video obtained by TMZ.

Aaron also said to the audience: "I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your love and all of your support with the LGBTQ community and my announcement".

He then described a lifelong process of coming to terms with his sexual orientation: "'This doesn't bring me shame, just a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off of me", he wrote. "When I was around 13-years-old I started to find boys and girls attractive".

In a recent interview for Variety's Power of Young Hollywood, Moretz shared, "When I was 4-years-old I thought Aaron Carter was so cool".
