Nokia to unveil flagship Android Phone August 16th

Until now, there are many leaked specifications available over the Internet about Nokia 8.

HMD Global is a Finish based company which designs and markets a range of devices under the Nokia brand. Before that, Blue and Silver color variants were also leaked in renders.

The upcoming Nokia 8 smartphone is the budget entry level phone.

Nokia 8 that has been subject to a plethora of leaks, is set to hit the floors on August 16 and HMD Global has started sending out invites for its launch. Additionally, it is also observed that the Nokia 2 runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. To recall, Nokia 3 comes with a 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels resolution. However, it does not reveal the processor make, but many speculate that this could be Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset. The phone is expected to come in 4GB and 6GB variants with 64GB of memory storage option. Following the recent agreement between Zeiss and HMD Global recently, it might just be possible that the Nokia 8 boasts Carl Zeiss branding as well. In terms of color, recently, the Copper Gold color variant of the alleged Nokia 8 was leaked in pictures.

The Nokia 8 is rumored to include a dual-camera system with 13-megapixel sensors and Carl Zeiss optics.

This isn't the first time we're hearing that HMD Global is working on an entry-level Android smartphone. While on the pricing front, Nokia 2 is expected to be the cheaper than Nokia 3 which was launched at Rs 9,499. Well, by now you don't need to keep an eye on the rumors as the launch date of the flagship phone from Nokia is finally setting the floor on the comping August 16th.
