WWE 'Battleground' 2017 live stream, start time, & match card

Stacy Diaz | 23 July, 2017, 19:59

Tonight's card will feature the superstars of WWE's "SmackDown Live" in a variety of matches.

The final Smackdown Live pay-per-view stop before Summerslam comes in the form of WWE Battleground on Sunday with plenty of gold on the line.

-The Usos vs. New Day for the Smackdown Tag Titles. As far as John Cena's flag match with Rusev is concerned, Cena is an even heavier favourite now at -1125. The first match of the night will take place on the Battleground Kickoff Show when Tye Dillinger faces Aiden English. Charlotte and Becky Lynch put on a great singles match on Smackdown Live this week and I wouldn't be too upset to see them go at it again for a while.

AJ Styles makes his first defense of the United States Championship against the former champion, Kevin Owens.

The main event could be the #Punjabi Prison Match.

Powell's POV: Join me for live coverage beginning with the Kickoff Show at 6CT/7ET. Now SD Live is gearing up to top that show with Battleground.

Battleground also marks the PPV return of John Cena, who took time off after WrestleMania to film a movie.

All three champions (Jinder Mahal, AJ Styles, The Usos) are heavily favoured to retain their titles. In addition, select cable companies will offer their customers the ability to purchase the event, although using the WWE Network's free one-month trial is the most cost-effective way to watch the PPV on a hi-speed internet connection.
