It seems Ed Sheeran is on a roll with his TV guestings.

The action came a day after Sheeran appeared in a guest role on Game of Thrones, which received a mix of positive and very critical reviews.

"It's a pretty song, I've never heard it before?"

The singer's ears will have been burning after a backlash from the show's fans following his appearance as a King's Landing soldier warbling in the woods of Westeros.

The "Shape of You" singer appeared in a cameo as part of a small group of Lannister soldiers who are joined by none other than Arya Stark.

Ed's such a Simpsons fan that he sports a tattoo of the obscure character Blinky the Three-Eyed Fish. "Watch out for this one, me and Lisa have a whole thing going on".

Ed revealed during an interview with The Hits Radio earlier this year that he'd be singing for Maisie's Arya, explaining: "I don't really know what I'm allowed to say".

Sheeran is also set to make an appearance in an episode of The Simpsons.

He will be starring in a musical themed special of the show during the 29th season which begins in October.

"He keeps alternating (between), 'You're not that great, but you could be fantastic, ' and she keeps falling for him because of his talent", executive producer Al Jean told EW. Sheeran's episode is expected to air in January.
