'We're sorry if Torino are annoyed about Belotti.

AC Milan have already made a number of notable signings this summer, bringing in Hakan Calhanoglu, Franck Kessie, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Bonucci, Andrea Conti, Lucas Biglia and Andre Silva. And it seems the Serie A giants are not over when it comes to improve their squad in an effort to mount a serious title challenge against Juventus, AS Roma, and Napoli. We'll see who the choice lands on, even if there are also other names who haven't been splashed on the front pages yet.

Alvaro Morata and Renato Sanches are the two names linked most recently and both are now odds-on to make the move to the San Siro.

"Evidently we are still thinking of doing something in that position". We are keeping all the options open and we will definitely do something attractive.

Like Manchester United, Chelsea are also interested in Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti, while have also been linked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Gonzalo Higuain.

Belotti scored 26 league goals in 35 appearances last season, laying on another seven assists, and was only out-scored by Roma's Edin Dzeko and Napoli forward Dries Mertens.

Fassone believes the coup of landing Bonucci from the Italian champions in a deal reportedly worth €42 million ($61.55 million) was a huge statement to Europe's top talent and means Milan are now a realistic option for stars like Morata, Aubameyang and Belotti.

The 23-year-old is a self-confessed Milan supporter and the two clubs are said to be edging closer to reaching an agreement.

Now the club's attention is on signing a striker, with Torino's Belotti, Real Madrid's Morata and Borussia Dortmund's Aubameyang all under consideration. They want to sign players only if the price fits their budget.
