A shooting at a nightclub concert in downtown Little Rock, Ark., injured 28 people early Saturday morning (July 1), police said. One person is critical, according to Little Rock Police Chief Kenton Buckner.

The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday at the Power Ultra Lounge during a concert by the artist Finese2Tymes.

According to local police, we are not talking about an act of terrorism. Police believe the shooting was the result of a dispute between two groups inside the venue, KTHV reports, although no other details were provided. "And government can do something to help us with that", he said during the press conference, expressing outrage that promotional material featuring a firearm had been used to advertise the event.

Three others are said to have been injured while trying to get out of the club.

Witnesses say they heard at least 20 gunshots. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

No further information was immediately available.

The volley of gunfire inside the Power Ultra Lounge came so fast that investigators believe multiple people had to have been involved.
