Even at $499 Dollars, the company will sell the new console of Xbox One X at a loss. When asked if each unit sold would result in lost profit for Microsoft, Spencer stated "I didn't answer it that way".

In a recent interview with Business Insider, Spencer confirmed with a simple "no" that the company will not be making a profit off of initial hardware sales (the cost of components inevitably comes down and eventually they will, but for now at least, there's no profit). Microsoft could soon be making money from Xbox One X sales, but how long that will take is now unclear. "The focus I had on this show was games you're going to get to play in the next year". Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands and many other popular Xbox One games will receive free updates to take full advantage of the power of Xbox One X. Xbox will also expand the Xbox One backward compatibility library to include original Xbox classics, starting with fan favorite Crimson Skies.

When it comes to the central processing unit (CPU), the PlayStation 4 has a slight lag compared to the Xbox One X as well. Xbox One X also offers the ultimate 4K entertainment package with 4K Ultra HD for Blu-ray X and streamed content, HDR support for gaming and video, and Dolby Atmos support.

Xbox One X was created to deliver uncompromised power, ultimate compatibility and design excellence.

The $499 price of the Xbox One X makes it the most expensive current-generation console in the market, with some gamers claiming that the price is too steep.

The Xbox One X will arrive on November 7 with a $499 price tag, which is $100 more than the PlayStation 4 Pro.

If you head to the Microsoft store you will find a detailed description about the Xbox One X's capabilities and why it is known as the most powerful console in existence. Beyond Phil Spencer, Microsoft has been very quiet on the possibility of VR support on the Xbox One X.
