Many have pointed out McGregor has zero chance against the one of the best boxers of all time and Pacquiao seems to agree.

At least one pro boxer has faith in Conor McGregor.

"McGregor has no chance in this fight", Pac-Man said Monday, per Dan Wetzel of Yahoo Sports.

As such, a majority of the response to the fight's confirmation has been to ridicule McGregor, but Kavanagh insists this will work in his favour. "In fact, it could be very boring". There is no way he will be able to land a meaningful punch on Floyd [Mayweather]. "How could he? He has no professional experience in boxing". How will the rest of the boxing community treat this fight?

Mayweather has racked up a record of 49-0 throughout his illustrious boxing career, defeating all-time greats such as Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez, Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya, Zab Judah, and many more.

"We are going to get a fight on - me and the old Hulk".

Pacquaio fought Mayweather himself in May 2015, in an eagerly awaited welterweight showdown that was dubbed "The Fight of the Century" by critics.

During a media stop at ESPN headquarters last week, Golovkin said he would only watch the fight if he had the time and said he would prefer to "go and play hockey with my son". You know, this guy might be - I think his punching power, I think he punches a little bit harder than those guys.

"It'll be good for boxing if McGregor chinned him". "I don't think McGregor is compatible with boxing, pure boxing".

"He said "I might franchise these around the world", and I was like "oh, ok".
