A felony charge of child abuse-intentionally causing bodily harm carries a possible six-year prison sentence, while the misdemeanor charge involves a possible 90-day jail sentence, per the Green Bay Press-Gazette. This comes off the heels of Adrian Peterson facing charges for child abuse a few years ago after it was revealed that he allegedly used a switch on his four-year-old son to discipline him.

Green and his daughter were arguing Sunday night about the dishes. Ahman's wife told investigators the child talked earlier about calling police and getting Green in trouble.

The daughter pulled away and held onto a nanny, "in hopes that her father would leave her alone". The daughter told police Green was hurting her during this process.

The alleged victim said during the argument, Green slammed her to the ground.

When questioned by deputies, Green admitted he struck her ear with an open palm, which might have caused the injuries around her eye. A deputy investigating the incident observed the victim with a swollen left eye and two minor scratches. He said he wasn't trying to hit her glasses. Eventually, she fled the house and called the police from a neighbor's house.
