Montano, whose child is due in November, seemed to cherish the occasion as she was pictured finishing the race at the Hornet Stadium with a huge grin on her face while wearing a Wonder Woman top and a trademark flower in her hair.

This isn't the first time Montaño arrived at the USA championships to run pregnant. On Thursday, she finished seventh in her 800-meter heat at the U.S. Track & Field Outdoor Championships, despite the blistering 110 degree heat and, uh, being five months pregnant.

Three years ago, she ran the same race while EIGHT months pregnant, running a time just 11 seconds slower than her 2017 effort. I really define myself as a fighter for good.

"I represent so many different people".

The couple made plans to get pregnant again previous year following the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, but they were prepared to put it off due to the Zika outbreak in Brazil.

I'm like, "I'm still pregnant", she said. She hauled herself across the finish line, where she collapsed to her knees and cried.

"I wanted Wonder Woman to represent me", Montano reportedly said. As she said in this short video that did not make me tear up, "It wasn't the fall at Olympic trials that matter".

Now five months pregnant, the two-time American record holder is back, letting neither her recent stumble nor her growing belly stop her from chasing her latest happiness on the track.
