The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says health sciences teacher Tad Cummins surrendered to sheriff's deputies Thursday without incident in Cecilville, California.
April 20 - Authorities in Siskiyou County, Calif., find Cummins' Nissan Rogue without a license plate.
After the capture, one federal charge of transportation of a minor across state lines for the objective of having criminal sexual intercourse was filed against Cummins, said Jack Smith, acting U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee.
"It may be a long road but at least we've got her back now", he said.
