If you plan on buying the Galaxy S8, I recommend turning this option off entirely, at least if you want to keep prying eyes from opening your smartphone.

Both versions of the Galaxy S8, the 5.8-inch and the larger 6.2-inch S8 Plus, are now available for preorder and are expected to hit the US market on April 21 at a cost of $720.

"Microsoft Store is committed to empowering its customers to achieve more through Office and Microsoft applications". Interestingly, those going with the Microsoft Edition will now have three virtual assistants - Bixby, Google Assistant and Cortana.

A Canadian pre-release of this software reveals Bixby's compatibility with third-party software, these unveiled apps are Facebook, Foursquare, LinkedIn, Twitter, Uber, YouTube and CNN. They will only be available in AT&T or Verizon flavors for now. The iris recognition feature is simply the scanning of the iris to unlock the phone, verify Samsung account, and much more.

There are two ways to take a screenshot on Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus.

Samsung has re-defined the concept of taking screenshots with its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus devices. This weakness was first spotted by iDeviceHelp, who ran a test using a picture of the phone's registered user displayed on another smartphone. This is the reason why the batteries of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been reduced. Phone screens are covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and the back. Along with Android Nougat, Samsung has preinstalled the device with their new personal assistant called Bixby. Even though the S8 is the size of an iPhone 7, its display is as large as the one on the iPhone 7 plus. The smartphones bring to life Samsung's stunning infinity display with pure content and no bezel.
