The Tigers hosted the 2006 NCAA Championship meet in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. The 2019 National Championship in Nicholasville will be the first of four upcoming championship sites for Division III Men's Golf awarded on Tuesday by the NCAA, in addition to over 600 other host sites announced by the association. Then it will be Detroit (2020), Pittsburgh (2021) and back to Boston in 2022.

Iowa State University will host a Division I men's golf regional at the Harvester Golf Club in Rhodes in 2019. The men's and women's races will be held November 17 at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course, the Badgers' current home.

UMHB will also co-host the 2019 and 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Golf National Championships. In Erie, Mercyhurst will host the women's Frozen Four. The respective NCAA sports committees and the divisional championships cabinets/committees reviewed the bid proposals and selected the sites.
