The US President, his First Lady Melania, together with their son, Barron, joined the guests as they rolled the colorful hard-boiled eggs across the lawn of the White House's backyard.

Specifically, the first lady was in charge of the activities, just like every year, and this was the 139th egg race hosted at the White House, although it was the first time the Trumps had been involved. I don't know if she's taking part in the Easter egg roll on the south lawn or not.

Children and families roamed the White House lawn at Monday's event, pushing wooden eggs across the grass with oversized spoons, playing beanbag games and coloring drawings that are being sent to US troops stationed overseas.

With more low key entertainment and a guest list of 21,000 children and parents (compared to 35,000 last year), this year's celebration is significantly scaled back. He thanked and congratulated Melania as a lot of people are going to experience a great time in attending the Easter Egg Roll.

Melania Trump frequently joins the president on his weekend visits to their Florida estate, and has been directly involved in White House arrangements in anticipation of her move, a senior White House aide said.

"As we renew this tradition, thank you for joining us on behalf of the president and Barron".

As per the US Flag Code, it is necessary for everyone to place their right hand over their heart as a sign of respect during the national anthem.

Melania Trump was stunning in a pink Herve Pierre dress at the Easter Egg Roll.

Is Melania Trump the HOTTEST first lady ever?

President Trump's older sons, Don Jr. and Eric, and their wives, and daughter Tiffany also attended. The political news website Politico reported Sunday that Ivanka Trump and Kushner, both top White House aides, "were spending Passover at the Four Seasons Whistler resort in Canada". During the Bush administration he wore the Easter bunny costume at the egg roll.
