The new update was spotted on Twitter by The Android Soul with the new build number 00CN_3_170.

The new update will upgrade the smartphone to Android Nougat 7.1.1 confirming the promise to keep the software updated. We are sure Nokia 6 users will have a nice surprise when they will see the new software update available on their smartphones. There are quite a few other changes as well, along with the latest April monthly security patch from Google. Also, once the update is installed, the Nokia 6 will offer support for 4G/3G dual-SIM dual-standby.

Apart from that, the over-the-air (OTA) update also adds to Android's existing background management and power saving features. The first thing that Nokia users can do is enjoy the shortcuts from the home screen, its a very useful functionality when doing simple tasks. With the specs given, Nokia 9 might also be looking at IP68 certification for protection against water and dust damages, as well as Nokia's OZO Audio feature with 3D capture and low latency.

According to a recent report from NPU, Nokia 9 will be the flagship smartphone that the Finnish company is going to release. It is expected to hit the global market in the second half of 2017.

HMD Global has shared that the global variant of the Nokia 6 will be released this spring, which includes the United States.

With this, Nokia is planning to launch its two more Android smartphones in the world named with Nokia 3 and Nokia 5.

The smartphone on the left is supposedly the Nokia 8, which features a bezel-less display on the sides, but with room for a home button on the bottom side. It also houses 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage (expandable to 128 GB).

The Nokia 8, as the name suggests, will be a cheaper version of the Nokia 9. The selfie camera is said to have a 12-megapixel shooter, while the phone could come with a 3,800mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0.
