Kate Middleton has given us a real fashion show for his first official visit to Paris, meant to strengthen the bonds of the Franco-British friendship in times of Brexit. It was recalled that Duke had stimulated debate a few days earlier when he didn't appear on a family event in favor of a ski trip.

The royal couple's first stop Saturday was a visit to Les Invalides, a Paris landmark, to honor both World War II veterans and survivors of the terrorism attacks in Paris in November 2015 and in Nice in July 2016.

William and Kate will meet French President Francois Hollande "given the historical relations between France and the United Kingdom", the Elysee Palace said. They also plan to attend a France-Wales rugby match. "We think you are very strong and very fearless, you've made awesome progress", he told her, and when she told the couple she wanted to get into the fashion industry, Kate said she'd keep an eye out for her designs.

But the incident was a further blow to the psyche of France, which remains under a state of emergency after attacks over the past two years that have killed 235 people.

She underlined her French luxury statement with a necklace, earrings and watch by Cartier - a jewellery house associated with the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson.

Yesterday, the royal couple started their day by attending a parade for St. Patrick's Day before embarking on a jet to the French capital. He was also seen talking with a blond Aussie model.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Paris on Friday on their first official visit to the capital on behalf of the Foreign Office.

This was underlined by Prince William in a speech, in which he stressed that the partnership between the two nations would not change. "I need to live and to work", she said. The royal couple's visit to Paris has enormous political significance in the wake of the U.K.'s Brexit decision to withdraw from the European Union.

Prince William and Kate Middleton went to France for the first time after Duke's mother died.

A little while later she changed into a black Alexander McQueen gown complete with oversized pearls and Gianvito Rossi heels when she and William attended the British Embassy to launch Les Voisins - The Neighbours - a year-long celebration of UK-French links, reports DailyMail.
