Klopp convinced of Liverpool success

Despite seeing Liverpool's hopes of a first league title since 1990 fall apart, Klopp maintains his belief that he can re-establish the club as the dominant force in English football and says he retains the backing of everyone associated with the club.

They have since defeated Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal on home soil, and claimed a draw with runaway Premier League leaders Chelsea, to preserve an unbeaten record in meetings with all of their nearest rivals in the table this season.

Jurgen Klopp's side visit the Etihad Stadium knowing that a win would lift them above City in the Premier League, having played a game more.

Manchester City and Liverpool are separated by just one point in what might be the most competitive race for top four ever, but one of them can separate from the challenging pack with a victory on Sunday.

Ahead of their weekend clash, the FC crew debate whether Man City or Liverpool will finish higher in the Premier League.

"Some of the games and results we've had against the top teams this season have been phenomenal", former Reds midfielder Hamann told Liverpoolfc.com.

The Reds did not play during the week, with their last game finishing 2-1 against Burnley where they fought to come back and win the game after going a goal down.

He has only scored one goal since his return after 12 games, in the 3-1 loss to Leicester and played only one hour in the match against Burnley. But we have seen on several occasions this term that Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero do play long balls in addition to short passes to the feet of defenders. If he thinks that's best I'll do it, to be successful as a team you need 11 players and also 25 in a squad.

I don't think we look at that side, we have to concentrate on ourselves. "I would like a little bit more time with him, but we're happy with his progress". These teams aren't good to be champions yet, but they'll be favorites in the future. I work. I am so proud of that. Three of City's back four are probably required to be replaced. "It takes a lot to stop them".
