MORE INFORMATION 8:32AM- The Yakima PD Public Info Officer Mike Bastinelli tells NBC Right Now, Leonnel Barajas was found safe with his mother Jessica Mendoza a short time ago in Yakima.

Police have confirmed that 23-year-old Manuel Carrasco Mendoza, the suspect who they say broke into a Yakima apartment, pointed a gun and abducted his nephew Monday night, has been taken into custody.

Police say a man suspected of abducting a 17-month old boy was arrested about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. The child was last seen at 801 Central Avenue, Apartment 71 in Yakima, Washington.

THIS JUST IN 8:29AM- Both suspects and Leonnell Barajas have been found.

Police are seeking 23-year-old Manuel Carrasco Mendoza, who they believe is armed and possibly risky. He was last seen wearing a maroon shirt with gray sleeves and red/blue checkered trousers.

Barajas is 2 feet tall, 45 pounds with blond hair and green eyes. He is a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes, about 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighing 155 pounds.

Later on that night, Police say the child's uncle, Manuel Mendoza, broke down the back door of a home of the 800 block of Central Avenue and at gunpoint took Leonnel Barajas.

They may be traveling in a silver/aluminum Chevrolet Impala with black rims and no hub caps. The vehicle has unknown Washington license plates. He may be with 24-year-old Jessica Mendoza.
