The shoes that Adidas specially makes for running the 40-yard dash cost $150. Granted, setting a combine record in the 40-yard dash is sure to boost any prospect's draft stock, which should provide plenty of endorsements and money either way.

So what time do players need to beat to win an island?

ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted out some islands for sale under the $1 million threshold set by Adidas. Originally a $100,000 prize offered to the top three fastest times of those running in adidas cleats became a $1 million prize to anyone that can break Chris Johnson's record of a 4.24.

Now the question most of you probably have right now is: what island would Adidas give you if you happened to break the 40 yard dash record? Wide receivers and defensive backs will participate in drills on March 4 and March 6, respectively; if the record is to be broken, it likely will be done so by a player from one of those position groups.

Oh, and there's one more tiny stipulation from Adidas. Does that mean they can win two islands? If that player fails to honor the terms of the endorsement, and doesn't wear Adidas gloves and cleats during the 2017 season, they have to give the island back. For 2017, that prize got bumped from $1 million to a private island.
