The grocery store chain Trader Joe's has recalled some of its apple sauce products because of the "potential presence of glass pieces".
On Sunday, the company said all affected products had been removed from store shelves and destroyed.
The recalls followed reports from customers who discovered glass in the recalled products, which were packaged in 24-ounce glass jars.
Customers can find the "Best Before" date stamped on the lid. The barcode on the product is 00014359 with a BEST BEFORE date of December 16 2018.
The "All Natural" applesauce was reportedly sold at stores in a number of states including California, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
Trader Joe's said in a release that the products are no longer available for purchase. The organic unsweetened has the barcode 00194877 and all dates through "Best Before Oct. 06, 2018".
