When Phillauri released its trailer starring Anushka Sharma, fans lauded her acting and character portrayed.

The Sufi love song from Anushka Sharma's "Phillauri" is out and brings back the charm of old school romance.

From communicating through eyes to spending time with each other, Anushka and Diljit take us through their innocent journey of love in Dum Dum. And that chemistry has proven itself yet again with its romantic sufi song Dum Dum.

Diljit's character's passion for music is brilliantly depicted as he carefully holds his musical instrument and as he performs for the villagers. Lovers Anushka and Diljit are seen sharing glimpses while also working on their regular activities.

"I was a little unsure of how the audience will react to my new look in the film but their response was heart-warming". Moreover, reports of her rumoured beau Virat Kohli's involvement with the film and Anushka's lengthy post on Twitter slamming them had made more people aware of the film. Model Mehreen Pirzada makes her debut with this film. They have all shown excitement.

Directed by Anshai Lal, Phillauri is the love story of a ghost and also features Suraj Sharma in the lead role.

Set in Punjab, Phillauri is about an NRI Punjabi boy named Kanan (played by Suraj Sharma) who returns to India to get married to his childhood sweetheart.
