Genie Bouchard Pays Off Super Bowl Bet, Goes On Date

Kristopher Love | 17 February, 2017, 00:45

@geniebouchard if patriots win we go on a date?

Bouchard later confirmed she would go through with the blind date and on Wednesday she made Goehrke's dream a reality.

With the Atlanta Falcons storming to a big lead over the New England Patriots in the National Football League decider earlier this month, Bouchard tweeted that she knew the underdogs would win.

Bouchard later posted a video of her and her date sitting courtside as the Nets hosted the Milwaukee Bucks.

After the stunning comeback, a red-faced Bouchard then gamely replied to John, asking him where he lived and cursing herself for daring to bet against the game's MVP Tom Brady.

"The most unbelievable part is that she agreed to it without knowing who I was", he said.

Luckily, though, when a TMZreported ambushed them after the game to ask how the date was going, Bouchard said, "Awesome, he's normal".

"I knew Atlanta would win btw", the 2014 Wimbledon finalist tweeted, later adding, "Just predicted the future".

"Time to pay up and give this fan a date, Genie Bouchard", a Bleacher Report wrote. It's awesome. I was a little bit anxious because his profile picture was a picture of Tiger Woods.

As though Pats fans needed one more thing to gloat about.

All he had to say on the date was this: "Very good - the best date ever".

Earlier in the week, John Goehrke, who is a student from Missouri, had told the Kanas City Star newspaper he never thought the world number 44 would accept his invitation.

And now it's all going to happen again, maybe we should touch this guy before buying lottery tickets?
