Caitlyn will be writing the memoir with Buzz Bissinger, who wrote the Vanity Fair article that accompanied her reveal. "It's her book, but it's going to be reported out to keep her honest".
Caitlyn released a statement in January (16), announcing that she was going to start penning the story of her life, which will chronicle her "journey from Bruce to Caitlyn, and her fearless transition into womanhood".
The book is expected to recount stories from Jenner's past, including his experience as a decathlete in the Olympics and her marriage to Kris Jenner (Kardashian) and her tumultuous recent years.
There was also a two-hour Keeping Up With the Kardashians special focusing exclusively on her transition from Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn quickly followed by her own reality series I Am Cait which ran for two seasons on E!
Caitlyn explained that she and Buzz were going to work hard to make sure her story was "told with a lot of honesty and care".
Jenner announced the title of her highly-anticipated project, out in April 2017, on Twitter on Monday.
Caitlyn Jenner - an Olympic gold medalist, a father, a reality television star, and the most famous transgender women in America - promises to candidly discuss how she overcame the challenges of transitioning at age 60 and how she dealt with the media attention she received after publicly announcing the news. "Like, 'You know what?"
