Sergio Aguero Denies He's In Competition With Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Jose Mourinho's side are one of only three teams with 100% records after three Premier League games.

He netted on his debut against Leicester in the Community Shield, before scoring on his Premier League bow against Bournemouth.

Ibrahimovic retired from worldwide football after UEFA Euro 2016, but still faces a season in which United will compete on four fronts, with the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cups all adding potential fatigue on to the 38-game Premier League schedule.

And now the Old Trafford manager is treating him as a special case to guide him through his first arduous campaign in England.

With United players going off on global duty this week, Ibrahimovic will be given extra time off.

"At 34 years old, you need to rest", Mourinho continued. Four matches, he has played 360 minutes.

"The other guys who aren't selected for their national teams, I give them two days off, but for Zlatan, I give holidays a la carte", Mourinho told The Independent after the win against Hull City.

Mourinho says each of his squad members who have not been selected for global duty will be given two days off during the fortnight, while Zlatan will be given four.

"You cannot play 70 games per season". I give holidays a la carte. And he is playing every match, every minute.
